China One Child Policy

http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/29/asia/china-one-child-policy/

Who: Chinese government changes decades long policy enacted in 1980 to allow couples to have more than one kid.

What: Chinese Government allows couples to now have two children.

Where: China

When: Recently October 29th

The graphic shows the growing problem with aging in China.

Why: It impacts the country because this policy has been estimated to stop 400 million births, and now with all the new births that will happen it will populate china more.
China fears that there is an aging problem and it won't be as rich as they hope.

Democratic Values:

Liberty- These people should have the right to have as many kids as they want. That is a given right. However this is kind of deceiving because the one child policy is only being upgraded to a two child policy. China is still not allowing anyone to have more than two kids.

Equality- The One Child policy did not show any equality because there was still a way for people to have multiple kids. Their was a large criteria of these for the Chinese couples.

Bias: This article is biased in favor of China. The author of this CNN article is based in Beijing China so he is constantly influenced and surrounded by the Chinese culture.
